Some views from my living-room window
Burrells Wharf Square

First-floor flat (walk up a dozen stairs or so) facing SE, overlooking landscaped square with views of the Thames, in resident-owned estate with communal swimming-pool, gym and 24-hour security. Fully-equipped kitchen (electric hob and oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge and freezer); TV, video, CD/hifi.

At the moment I'm not really looking to exchange for long-haul holidays, but mainly for short breaks to other European cities.

My flat is somewhere behind the anchor!
Quiet residential area in London Docklands, just south of 'Wall Street-on-Thames' at Canary Wharf, with good access by public transport to all that London has to offer (10 minutes walk to Docklands Light Railway station, linking to the Underground at Canary Wharf for the Jubilee Line, Bank for Central, District, Circle and Northern Lines, Tower Gateway for District and Circle Lines; 30 minutes by direct riverboat service to central London). Historic maritime Greenwich is 20 minutes walk away by foot tunnel under the Thames (as well as by DLR). Shopping at Canary Wharf and in Greenwich as well as local supermarket (15 minutes walk away) and convenience store and sub post office over the road from the estate.

Scroll down the page to see where my flat is in relation to central London.

There's a plan of the flat and some pictures of the interior on the next page >>
